This is an easy, fashionable and practical way to hang necklaces. What more could I ask for. I made this for my sister-in-law...ehem, my husband made this...I was the....artistic director. Yes, that's it!
Supplies Needed:
Old frame or picture with wood backing
Door knobs
Fabric
Batting
Drill
Scissors
Staple Gun
1. Determine placement of door knobs. If you are like my husband, you'll measure out lots of lines and choose with utmost of precision.
2. Drill holes through the wood frame on designated marking for door knobs.
3. Cover wood first with batting, then with fabric. Use a staple gun to secure the edges tightly by stapling to the back.
4. Cut small holes in the fabric (Don't drill through the fabric because it will catch and tear) and screw knobs in place.
5. You may need to saw the door knob screws if they are too long.
6. Hang on the wall and start storing your necklaces!
