...experiencing hard core sisterhood.
They are so different. Opposite of every spectrum known to man. One is reserved, cautious, athletic, deliberate, helpful, funny, analytical. The other spontaneous, happy, witty, stubborn, a bit sassy, a bit mischevious, a dreamer, loving. But they have somehow learned to appreciate each other's strengths and fill in for each other's weaknesses. At such a young age it is so wonderful for me to watch...particularly because quite honestly I have not spent as much time with them as I have in the past 3 weeks since they were born and I was on maternity leave. I am seeing more and more of their character develop and they are teaching me oh so many things about the essence of motherhood. Their interaction and expressions consume my heart with delight. One leads. The other follows. And they take turns doing this, which shows me how confident they are in their special relationship. Of course, they cause quite a few shenanigans to make me go mad, and so I just take an extra nap and all is well again! It has been pure joy (and well, a little exhausting!)
